Chambers Fletcher's Wills and Probate Department again participated in the National Will Aid campaign raising money for charities including NCPCC, The British Red Cross and Age UK.  During the month of November we completed numerous wills on behalf of clients and did not charge a fee for this service, instead the client made a donation to Will Aid.

UK Treasury have introduced plans to reduce inheritance tax (IHT) on an estate where at least 10% is gifted to charity.

We are celebrating becoming one of the first firms in the country to secure membership to the Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme - the mark of excellence for the home buying process.

The National Minimum wage will increase from 1 October 2011.  Most workers in the UK over school leaving age are legally entitled to be paid as a minimum the National Minimum wage (NMW).

During the month of November Chambers Fletcher’s wills and probate department are once again supporting charity through the will aid campaign in their ‘make a will month’.

Chambers Fletcher threw themselves into this year’s Northwich Festival weekend.  As one of the longest established firms of solicitors in the town, we decided to get involved by entertaining the crowds and raising funds for a local charity in an unusual way.
